Sunflowers – Life Valuable Lessons!

Like many of us, in this rapidly changing world, with very busy schedules. I started to feel a bit frustrated and overwhelmed. I started to judge my success and my priorities.

I decided to step away for a minute and rethink my priorities.

So for the past few days, I have been shifting, prioritizing and thinking about a few different aspects of my life.

During this process, I had the privileged to visit a sunflower field.

I was amazed by the experience.

I searched for various fields before picking my final choice. I wanted to ensure that it was fields and fields of flowers. And it was!

  13. Keep Growing – Regardless of the Circumstances and your surroundings.

So with these cherished lessons, I decided my priorities needed to change. My life needed some shifting. And that’s exactly what I’m learning to do. To follow my heart and leverage my gifts.

Tom Hopkins once said: “Getting in touch with your true self must be your first priority:

Each individual has their own ways of finding their true self. So maybe for you it’s taking a walk, reading a book, praying, listening to music or some alone time. Whatever the means is, I urge you to find it and make the shift to improve you.

The bottom line is we are too busy making things and others our priority when it should really be the other way around.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first!”

Sunflowers are not worried that there thousands and thousands of them in the fields. They worry about themselves first, making sure their facing the light, — why not do the same in our lives??? Once we are taking care of our self’s — We will also reflect these valuable lessons into others and as a result improve the lives of those around us.
